The secret to Marlo and Tracy Webb’s success is simple: after being independent distributors for years, their growth had stagnated at $2 million. After exploring their options, they chose to join Proforma as Distributor Owners.

In just the past two years their sales have tripled, catapulting them into Proforma’s Five-Million Dollar Club.

“We’ve always been interested in acquisitions but were never sure about how to proceed,” says Tracy. Since 2019, the Co-Owners of Metro Printed Products, powered by Proforma have managed to secure four acquisitions, totaling in more than $3 million of annualized sales growth. The Proforma Acquisition Team helped us every step of the way from identifying the prospects, to negotiating the deals, guidance through the legal process, and helping develop and implement the transition plans.” says Marlo.

They have also made impressive strides in securing large corporate accounts. “The Proforma Major Accounts Team supported us in many ways including developing proposals and delivering winning presentations, they really took their time to help us to learn and master the process,” says Tracy. Recently, the Webbs acquired two multi-year contracts worth more than $2.5 million per year.

With the reliable support Proforma offers, our freedom has actually expanded. They give us access to rich resources so that we are able to pursue opportunities that we never thought possible.

Proforma’s eCommerce solution, ProStores, has been instrumental to both securing acquisitions and winning major accounts. “ProStores offers us the ability to cater to our clients’ specific needs in a way that other eCommerce offerings on the market simply do not,” says Tracy.

“We’ve built an incredible team,” says Marlo. “Between our internal team and the Proforma Support Center Team, our business will continue to thrive.”

The future looks bright for Metro Printed Products, powered by Proforma. Marlo and Tracy’s son, Bryan, has now joined the business, and they look forward to their legacy carrying on through him while knowing that the business will be in good hands backed by a dynamic support system.

As independent owners we were hesitant to join any distributor group because we thought that meant compromising our freedom, but now that we have joined Proforma we wish we would have done so sooner,” says Marlo. “With the reliable support Proforma offers, our freedom has actually expanded,” adds Tracy. “They give us access to rich resources so that we are able to pursue opportunities that we never thought possible.”
